PRIMARY 7 ASSEMBLY
On Friday 31st August P7 performed the first assembly of the school session – Back to School with God. The main theme was about making a fresh start and believing in ourselves to ensure we achieve anything we want to. The pupils worked extremely hard to learn their words and songs in preparation for the assembly. The class song “Believe” began with a beautiful solo by Emma Miller and there were many tears from the parents as they enjoyed the performance by the pupils. The parents completed 2 stars and a wish sheets at the end of the assembly and were full of praise for the pupils. They felt that the pupils spoke clearly and sang beautifully. Well done, Primary 7 – very proud of you all!

P1/P7 BUDDY LITTER PICK
In preparation for our Third Green Flag Inspection the pupils are working hard to ensure we have a litter free zone here at Kirklandneuk. Therefore, the Primary 7 pupils took their Primary 1 buddies out to litter pick. This helped to encourage them to help pick up litter and make them aware of the importance of putting litter in the bins provided. All the children worked hard and cleared the school playgrounds.
WHAT’S NEXT IN P7?
We are just beginning a Social Studies topic about the life of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and will be enjoying a range of art and technology related activities. We are studying Structure of the Earth with Miss Craig and will be enjoying a relaxing Massage as part of our Health Calendar this month.
Many thanks!
